To Whom It May Concern: I am trying to apply for the Discover Card Platinum card; however, there are a few fields that don't apply to me. For example, I do not own or rent a home; therefore, I should be able to skip that field of questions. What can I do if there are fields that do not apply to me? It is your bank that can charge a fee for foreign currency transactions, these fees may vary from 2% to 5-6% of the amount, and sometimed the minimal and maximum fees are maintained. Besides, some credit cards do not imply such kind of service, so you should ask all the details in your bank.

Actually, everything depends on your credit score and on the bank you want to apply to. Usually, it takes several hours up to a couple of weeks for the bank to make a decision to give you a credit card or not. After that, you should wait for the card to be delivered to your by mail - it can take up to 30 days. There are instant approval credit cards which provide approval within several minutes (in case you have a proper credit score), but you will still have to wait for the credit card to be delivered to you.
