I received a pre selected credit approval but can't locate it when i try to access it on line, I have an activation number? |
| Answer: |
 |
If you received a credit card approval, there must be an approval letter from the credit card company which contains the activation number. If you cannot find the credit card you're approved of online, search for the telephone number of the credit card company to resolve the problem. If there isn't the telephone number, the whole thing has been a scam.

I received a finance charge on my credit card called "Periodic Rate Finance Charges". The company has been unable to give me a satisfactory explanation. They tell me it is a charge from the previous month when I was out of the country and this charge will probably appear for another month or two. What is this charge forand how is it calculated? |

Unfortunately, we cannot consult you on this question, as our task is to give information on various types of credit cards and help you choose the right for you card and apply for it. If you have some misunderstanding with your credit card, first study its terms and conditions more closely. If there isn't anything said about the charge, you can go to court to settle the problem or just refuse to cooperate with the credit card company.
Good luck,

I have bad credit because i went thru a time in college where i didnt have a job and i couldnt make my credit card payments. Now I have a very good job but i would like to get a credit card where I could transferr my balances over to. I cant get approved for any credit cards because of my score. The only cards that I can get approved for are the 350.00 ones that after fees you dont have any line left. Any way to get a card with a large enough limit to consolidate all my debt to so I can just have one payment? |
| Answer: |
 |
You see, you can't consolidate your debt with the help of balance transfer credit cards because of your bad credit, as balance transfer credit cards are for good credit only. So,I think, you have two options in your situation. You can either start building your credit by means of the following: get a bank account and get a secured credit card or a bad unsecured credit card (they can be found among bad/no credit card deals), if your credit score is eligible for the latter. But, of course in this case you won't get an extensive credit limit. If you need money desperately, and a considerable amount of it, you can try to become a member of some credit union, or get a home equity loan, but in this case building up your score will be much slower. Good luck!

HOW DO I SET UP ON LINE PAYMENT? |
| Answer: |
 |
If you want to pay you bills online, you should first of all make sure it is possible with your bank and your credit card, this can be found interms&conditions of your credit card, or your can ask customer service of the bank about it. After that, you should know the official web-address to which you can go andget registered (usually your card number or account number is required to enter). In most cases, you aquire your personal page which contains several blanks to fill out: your name and surname, expiry date of your cards, numbers of your checking or credit account etc - all necessary details that let you transfermoney from one account or card to another one. You shouldn't be afraid to enter such kind of data online, as such sites are protected against identity theft.

can i take ur credit card offer as my account is new |
| Answer: |
 |
You can take another credit card offer, if several conditions are fulfilled: if your credit score is eligible for the credit card offers you've chosen, if your annual income is enough for paying the credit, if your are accurately paying off your current credit card, without any delinquencies. If some of these essential things are missing, you can possibly get denied for your credit card application. So decide for yourself, and if everything is OK, you are welcome to apply online for one of our credit cards.

Good morning.i was trying to look for a credit card to suit me,and i found one, so i applied, and days later i was approved.so i read the FAQ,and i read that you can get a unsecures credit card because you dont have a savings, or checking account.but the thing is i have a checking, and a savings account, but i dont have no credit.what should i do,should i stick with the unsecured credit card or try to get a secured credit card. |
| Answer: |

I didn't quite catch what kind of credit you have. But, I guess you have a limited one. You differentiate between secured and unsecured credit cards, so you should understand what they are for. If you have no credit history, no accounts and no other experience with banking, you can hardly be approved for a credit card, as you do not look reliable enough for a bank. So after you get a checking or savings account, you can apply for a first credit card - secured card - to establish your credit. So your credit score will be increased due to both account and secured credit card. Your next credit card will be unsecured credit card, as you have some credit already, and the bank has some notion of your reliability.
There are unsecured credit cards, however, for which even people with no credit history are approved, so maybe it is your case, or you have had soem credit loan)before. If you were approved for your unsecured credit card, you shouldn't thing of getting an unsecured one, as you don't need it, on the one hand, and it provides less score increase, that unsecured card, on the other hand. Go on applying for credit cards and don't fail to pay them off on time and in full, thus building your credit.

I have no credit history and would like to apply for a gas credit card with citibank or chase. Do these companies report to major credit bureaus? Thanks you. |
| Answer: |
 |
Chase credit cards, as well as CitiBank credit cards are issued for people with good and excellent credit history. If you have no credit history you should establish it. To set up your credit history you can choose one of bad/no credit cards. Compare credit card applications for secured credit cards and unsecured ones, compare credit card rates, compare credit card setup and annual fees, take into consideration the opportunity of credit line increasing and apply online for credit card with the most applicable terms! Build strong credit eventually and you`ll afford applying for the best gasoline credit card available. |

I have been rebuilding my credit. I would like to know what type of cards are easiest to get as far as credit rating. Department Stores, Gas cards or Visa/Mastercard types. |
| Answer: |
 |
To rebuild your credit most successfully, you may want to try maintaining a new credit card, to show future creditors that you are now in control of your finances. This can usefully be done with department store cards or gas station cards, which are generally easier to get than the standard bank issue credit cards; so, even if your credit report is not perfect, you may be approved for a gas station or department store card. Once you have been approved for your new store card or gas station credit card, you should make every effort to pay off the balance in full each and every month. However these types of cards are even more expensive than other credit cards, and typically have higher interest rates! Therefore, you`d better compare their terms with the terms of some rewards cards for credit that needs improvement, for example, one of Capital One credit cards, for example, Capital One No Hassle Cash Rewards Basic Card, which is a MasterCard card, before you make your card application. |

have i been excepted by americanexpress |
| Answer: |
 |
If you've applied for one of American Express credit cards and your application was declined the most evident reason for this can be your credit score insufficiency. Bear in mind, the most distressing thing is that you can hurt your credit score, getting credit card companies refusals. That's why do not apply online for credit card unless you're likely to get it. It's strongly recommendable to obtain your credit score first from one of the national credit bureaus: Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. You can also get your score through the official online source established for this purpose. Be aware of your real credit score, apply for a credit card affordable, and you`re sure to be approved! |
