You see, credit-spy.com is just a service where you can apply for a credit card on-line. We do not have any information on your accounts, credit card balance amounts and any other personal info, as it is beyond our competence. Our site's aim is to help you and other customers to find a proper credit card for their needs among the great variety of bank credit cards (to fill out an application form you are redirected to the bank's site). So if something happens with your account, this may have been the bank's mistake or something of the kind, so apply to the bank immediately to clear out the situation. Hope everything will be OK. |

I have bad credit because i went thru a time in college where i didnt have a job and i couldnt make my credit card payments. Now I have a very good job but i would like to get a credit card where I could transferr my balances over to. I cant get approved for any credit cards because of my score. The only cards that I can get approved for are the 350.00 ones that after fees you dont have any line left. Any way to get a card with a large enough limit to consolidate all my debt to so I can just have one payment? |
| Answer: |
 |
You see, you can't consolidate your debt with the help of balance transfer credit cards because of your bad credit, as balance transfer credit cards are for good credit only. So,I think, you have two options in your situation. You can either start building your credit by means of the following: get a bank account and get a secured credit card or a bad unsecured credit card (they can be found among no credit card deals), if your credit score is eligible for the latter. But, of course in this case you won't get an extensive credit limit. If you need money desperately, and a considerable amount of it, you can try to become a member of some credit union, or get a home equity loan, but in this case building up your score will be much slower. Good luck! |

how can I verify that this number (1-888-684-7370) for a chase world mastercard is a real number and I did not give my information out to a scam in the mail? Things did not seem right, either the man I talked to was very incompitent or I got scammed. How do I make sure I was not scammed? |
| Answer: |
 |
You should call Chase bank and find everything out, we can't help you as we are not issuers of credit cards and do not send pre-approval letters by mail. First of all you chould call the bank and ask if such credit card offer exists and is promoted by pre-approval letters. You can also see for this credit card among Chase credit cards at our site. After that it will be clearer for you what to do - either to report of the scam or decide wether to accept that credit card or not. |

I applied for a car loan and was told by my credit union that I need to establish a credit history. I have a student loan and one credit card, but how do I go about making myself more credit worthy? They suggested that I establish more credit by adding two more credit cards, but what type of credit cards would help me build additional good credit? Should I apply for store card like Walmart, Target, etc. or one like this that I will use a lot plus another major like a Discover credit card? Thanks for your help. |
| Answer: |
 |
Your choice of credit card deals now depends on the type of credit history you have already established. Probably at the moment you've got a poor or even a fair credit. Yes, merchants credit cards can help you, but make sure they send monthly reports to credit agencies, otherwise, it doesn't make sense. Surely a major credit card will be more weighty. To customers with fair credit history we can offer unsecured credit cards. You can as well find student credit cards and make use of the rewards (to get a student credit card, you need a good credit rating). Apply online for a credit card deal and improve your credit history with www.Credit-Spy.com! |

What is the spending limit on credit cards for a person with bad gredit or no credit |
| Answer: |
 |
Your credit limit is the maximum sum of money you can charge on a certain credit account. Surely your credit limit will depend on your credit history. Usually, a credit limit for bad credit history starts from 250 dollars. Generally, credit lines vary - it may be from $300 to $1000 and more. As suggested by the Consumer Federation of America, customers shold carry credit lines not more than 20% of the net household income. For instance, people with income of $30,000 can cap credit lines at $6,000. no credit card offers are mainly secured credit cards - you must deposit a sum of money in the bank, so the credit limit will depend on the amount. Apply online and get your credit card!

Should i appy for a balance transfer on a low interest credit card if my credit balances are high?My score is 632 |
| Answer: |
 |
According to your score figure, your current credit rating averages fair which makes it difficult for you to make a balance transfer credit card deal. Credit cards with balance transfers are normally issued to good and excellent credit history customers to help them pay off outstanding balances at a lower interest rate. Your inability to qualify for balance transfer is explained by the lender's reluctance to take risk associated with your poor credit card management. So, if you want to take advantage of a low interest balance transfer credit card deal you need to raise your credit score first. Try to cut down spending on your present plastic and make sure you pay the bill on time and in full each month. After a while of regular credit card payments, you will reduce your balances and boost score. Then, feel free to search and compare some of the best balance transfer cards online and apply for one to kill the debt at a lower or no interest at all. |

trying to figure out which is a better deal: 0% balance transfer for 12 months or 3.9% until 2011 on $10,000
can you help me with this??? thank you |
| Answer: |
 |
The profitability of a 12 months 0% intro period on balance transfers or an ongoing 3.9% depends on your determination to get rid of the credit card debt burden and your actual financial resources to do it. If you feel that you can make large enough payments on your bill each month, then the 0% intro APR on balance transfers will be your best deal. You will not only repay the whole balance in as soon as 12 months but will do it interest-free. However, such a card will be of most use if you keep from going shopping with it and thus - from accumulating interest charges on purchases. Just use this credit card to pay off the debt. Now, if becoming debt free is not your first goal but you wouldn't mind to repay it at a lower interest still, then the ongoing 3.9% on balance transfers will make you more good. You wouldn't have to find some extra funds to effect a monthly bill and just a small payment will deliver you from debt in a couple of years. |

WHAT CARDS GIVE 0% INTEREST FOR LIFE ON TRANSFERS OF BALANCES |
| Answer: |
 |
Thank you for asking your question, Dianna. There are quite a number of credit cards that offer 0% interest rate on balance transfers. It can be a balance transfer card, any rewards card, or deal with low interest rate, and so on. 0% interest rate on balance transfer is a really dream feature that every cardholder would want to have. But, unfortunately, these dreams are far from reality. There are no deals that come with 0% APR on balance transfers or purchases for life. This would have been extremely loss-making for lenders to issue such cards. You see, credit companies and banks are commercial financial institutions, they have to make profit somehow. And interest, as well as fees that consumers pay for using credit cards, are number one income items for lenders. Interest-free loans and credit cards are possible only when it comes to some non-profit organizations or friends and family. You can find a deal with really favorable terms and 0% introductory APR on balance transfers that can last up to 18 month, but not for life of an account. |

I have recently lowered my credit score due to settling credit card bills. I now need a loan and/or
a credit card to help with bills and they say I am not eligible(low credit score)-any suggestions?
I have been repeatedly been referred to New Millenium cards, Horizon but they are for merchandise
or work as a debit, I need $ to pay bills, help. |
| Answer: |
 |
Candi, it depends on how low your credit score is. You know, there is always a way out. There are credit cards for limited credit. They will not give you a credit line of, say, $10,000. But I believe, you will be able to qualify for a credit line big enough to settle your credit card bills. As a rule, limited credit cards come with a credit limit that ranges from $300 up to $3,000. The size of your credit line will depend on your payment history and score and partly on your annual income. If you haven't been skipping your payments for a year, you will get enough money to pay off at least some part of your outstanding balance. Remember about your interest rate. Try to find a deal with the lowest APR possible. This will help you save money on interest. Consider applying for Capital One cards. They have favorable terms for low score applicants. |
